Hi everyone :o) I hope all is well!
It’s been a while since I’ve been here, and just as long since I messed with my website projects. Have you missed me?.. I’ve missed you!
Anyway, I’ve just noticed that my parallax images (row format) aren’t working, and hope that someone will know why not.
They worked before, so I’m not entirely sure what happened. I’m still using MS Edge on PC, but I’ve also tried Chrome, without success.
Environment:
WX5: 2023.2.8
PHP: 8.2.11
Nginx: 1.24.0
Win11: Pro 22H2 (22621.2428)
I am looking forward to reading your advice. Thanks guys!

UPDATE
I have just tried switching from PHP 8.2 to 8.1 and to 8.0, all to no affect. I have also just tried looking at other websites (made with other dev software) and the browser displays these parallax effects without a problem.
I still don’t know what’s causing the issue.

Hi Daniel, it’s great to see that you are still active! :oD
You see the parallax effect on the image, correct?
Which OS are you using mate? And, any idea why I don’t see the effect?

UPDATE
I have just logged into a Win10 client, and IT WORKS!
I have a Win11 Beta VM. I’m going to boot it now, and test……
I have a notebook with Windows 11 Home.

UPDATE
I have just logged into my Win11 VM [Pro 23H2 (25967.1010)] and it works on that too. I’m somewhat perplexed now.
I’ll try clearing the cache etc. But since the parallax image doesn’t show in chrome or WX5-Preview either, I suspect that something else is going on.
Thanks for the support, Daniel. If there are any other suggestions, then I welcome them!

UPDATE
I have now tried to reset Internet Options (Advanced) to default. And, have gone through the power ‘settings’ and power options (control panel) in Win11 and reconfigured to ‘performance’ to no affect.
I’m convinced that an action I took a few months back that ‘optimised’ my power configuration has changed something in the registry, and that is causing this. Since I do not know which key, I will have no choice but to reinstall Windows to resolve it. Unless, one of you brainy-bunch knows what it could be. You’d be saving me a headache if you could offer another solution!
