Hello, please tell me how to make booking and payment through your platform? I need to make it so that the photographer can be booked on a certain date, and immediately pay for the services.( I can easily connect the payment system, but how to choose and how to create a date and when the payment is made, I received a notification or confirmation and the date is shown as booked!

Tell me how you have a system of booking for any services with a payment system? I need to create on this site https://art.angellios.com

you need to activate external services, try the booking items found in the shopping_and_booking section

I myself have no experience with booking appointments on websites.

Since customers are not allowed to book multiple appointments at the same time, a calendar would have to display the free appointments and only release these free appointments for booking, but this may not be possible with WebSiteX5 alone.

So an external online appointment booking and payment software would have to be used.

Maybe WebSiteX5 users who faced the same problem will come forward and share their solutions.

Here is a link that I found via Google (no guarantee)

English >> https://www.setmore.com/en/industries/photography (Free for up to 4 users)

Deutsch > https://www.setmore.com/de/industries/photography (Kostenlos bis zu 4 Nutzer)

The LuxCal https://www.luxsoft.eu/ has an advanced booking function.

It is possible to have an "open" booking function or only for logged in-users.

Only thing is that it is not integrated with a payment system.

The LuxCal is totally free

There is the to-pay-for solution by jabbers. https://www.phpjabbers.com/availability-booking-calendar/

This has to be paid for, but once paid there is NO monthly fee.

There are 2 entries in the WebSiteX5 marketplace that lead to external providers, but one of the links no longer works and the other link can be found here. >> https://market.websitex5.com/de/objekte/37d744d8-1b56-41fa-a249-10736bf1bfc

With products you can sell the same product multiple times, with appointments this is not possible, unless it is a gymnastics group and you set the number of members as the number of available products.

The easiest way is to use external service providers who manage appointments and can also offer a payment function.

The situation is similar with holiday apartments, where an appointment can only be made once and then has to be blocked for other visitors to the website. Here, WebSiteX5 does not have a vacation rental function, but rather refers to an external service provider in the marketplace.

This function is best created by an external provider, which you need to pay for. One of my sites uses Vcita as the provider. A link on the website takes you to their portal and they do all the rest. Their calendar links to your Google Calendar and they update each other. They offer 3 payment gateways and I used Stripe. Stripe takes a small payment for each transaction and Vcita is a monthly subscription. Not cheap, but it is very reliable.

A suggestion.

You use the LuxCal calendar and the X5

The calendar to make bookings - and the X5 for the payment. Scenario:

On your site is an instruction how to make a booking.

0- the user checks that a time slot he wants is free and he registers himself in the calendar and shortly thereafter he goes to 1.

1- The user makes a booking and this locks the booking-time specified.

2- The user Buys the wanted amounts of time in the X5 shopping system. Maybe a number of hours and a transaction fee - or whatever. The user receives a confirmation for the payment and an order-number.

3- The user opens his booking and put in the X5-order-number as reference

You set up the calendar to accept bookings by making an event. In the event the user has to set in his contact-information. By default the calendar sets the event to have one type of  colour, (reserved - awaits accept)

When an event is created the calendar automatic send an email to the admin (you).

The time is locked for other events. Times can be given as start- and end-times. A standard time-slot can be set up. It can be set if a booking should "lock" some time before and after the event. This can be used if something has to be cleaned between events or if there is some driving time or so.

When you get the email that a new booking has been done, you check if there has been made a payment for the booking.

If not, then you contact the user that made the booking - or you just delete the booking.

If payment is made - then you Open the booking and give it another colour (confirmed booking). On the booking you can attach extra information. Example could be a PDF that explains a procedure.

This is one way to do it that will function.

In the near future a new option for messaging is made. At the moment the calendar can send notifications via mail or SMS. The new function will send notifications via the Telegram service. This is very handy for mobiles.

For mobile use the calendar can be set so an admin or manager can have a display that shows awaiting and confirmed bookings. Again - very handy for mobiles.
