Preview website is not working  en

I have lost the ability to preview my web pages, clicking "preview" just creates a blank screen. Everything was working until 2 months ago. Sometimes it happens (for 2 years 3x) and I had to completely reinstall the entire program, delete everything, and after that it works. (removing/stop the firewall might help, but it's not a solution, the firewall must be turned on, otherwise someone will hack me here).

What happens suddenly in the websiteX5 that it stops working?

It takes quite a long time to reinstall the entire app and load all of the websites

I have a cheap notebook with Windows 11 Home, the Windows firewall and antivirus program are active, and Panda Dome is also installed and active as an antivirus program.

I use the current Pro version, but the preview also works with the old version Evolution 13.

There is probably something on the computer that is causing the problems, but outsiders cannot know that and can only guess.

If a reinstall helps, then I would just do that.

Maybe the moderators have some tips on this.

run website as administrator

and

add exception in your firewall to WebsiteX5 program and their folder

I am using Avast Ultimate, made exception and still doesnt run. Since my avast subscription is running out, I uninstalled it and left only the Windows one and it works. 

Does anybody know, how to fix it in Avast?

avast is a very bad antivirus.
And it has just been fined for selling its customers' data.
change antivirus !

I want to buy new licence these days- tell me please your opinion about aw - norton, bitdefender?

I use Norton (Norton 360 - 10 devices). I have used it (different versions through time) for many years now, and it has newer given trouble for my X5 or other programs - the X5 I have also used for many years now.

It is not the cheapest antivirus, but sometimes you get what you pay forlaughing
