I have tried to set up an Ionos database for use with Website X5 Pro, but Website X5 Pro fails to connect as it complains about the folder to write to, and the MySQL settings.

It then refers to a general Website X5 Pro help page. This is not very helpful as it does not give any suggestions.

Does anyone have a step by step guide on how to set up an Ionos database with Website X5 Pro please?

I am aware I could host using the included hosting that Website X5 Pro gives, but I have multiple sites already on Ionos.

I would like to get this working so I can use the control panel. The site I am testing is at http://www.nowfly.uk
