Homepage shows hamburger and level menu always on right side?

I must be missing something - the menu on the main page always ahows as hamburger, and the level menu doesnt drop down but appears on right side...?

the value of 300 for each menu item seems excessive to me, try 100

Thanks I'll try that. I assumed the Width setting had to bigger than the longest menu item.? Will try shortening
