Regarding the PDF viewer object, is there a way to disable the download of the document (download button removal)?
If not, does anyone know how to do it with CSS?
Best!

Hi, Axel.
Thank you for the reply!
Good point—I didn't think about the right click > download.
I'll have to also disable the right-click, which is easy...
Anyways, the point of my post is to dissuade regular visitors from downloading the PDF because I want that file to be read on the website.
I wish that the PDF viewer (and other similar WSX5 plug-ins) had more customizing options...
stop hallucinogen products
you dream
(It > En) ... ...what you want to achieve is the opposite of what PDF was designed for...
... it is good to be informed; ... the PDF format is a proprietary format, ...not suitable for the WEB...!...
... its purpose is to be downloaded for its main function, "printing" ...
... not all browsers allow online viewing of the PDF file, but all browsers allow you to download it for the most common uses ...
... there are ways and ways to see a PDF online ...
.................................
... blocking the right mouse button does not disable the functions of the PDF reader ...
................................
... if you use the functions of the program with opening in the showbox, to disable printing and downloading, there would be two of my exclusive approaches with EXTRA code ...
1) ... the first method darkens / disables the icons on the right of the reader in the showbox, not allowing clicking ...
2) ... the second method disables all the contents of the showbox not allowing any action, therefore to be evaluated based on the type of PDF ...

Thank you! I wanted to use PDF because it's much easier for me to put.doc files or graphics into this format.
As I wrote above, my intention is for the visitor to read that file on the website and not to download the file on his/her phone / PC.
I could achieve that with a simple TXT box, but that way I lose some formatting and it's easier for me to update this text later - just replace the old PDF file with the updated one.
KolAsim, I'm interested in the first option that disables download and print buttons in the PDF viewer.
If this is doable with the few lines of code, I'll appreciate your input.
Thank you!

@ Axel
That's why I use this software just for my static company web page. I don't have the time (nor will power) to switch to a different platform (so far).
...OK ... I will gladly do it, but as you know, I personally rely on real LINKS of online examples to be able to evaluate...
... when you post me the LINK of your Example Page with the button or link that activates the opening of the PDF in the showbox, then I will return here...

Thank you very much for the effort.
Don't bother, I decided to put PDF content in a TXT format and in the TXT box.
Don't want to waste yours on anybody else's time for this.
Best!
... as you prefer...
... for me if you post the LINK so I can evaluate, for me it's not a problem...
... as an alternative to the TXT there is also the html format and the image format...
.
ciao, bye and good work...

Hello Sinisa,
I have checked...
2 options to display the pdf into WSX5
the first is into an iframe automatically generated by the software during export.
So too difficult to change iframe parameters by coding because we have no acces to this object displayed into iframe. May be by changing the code of the object.... Not fun !
And the second option through Google viewer... And the best should to modify the object code.
Not suitable for me
Sorry.
