Menu Not Updating on Home Page

I think I uncovered a bug. When I tried updating my menu object in the template section, the home page would not take the menu changes. It was only after setting a different page as the home page, updating the menu, and then reverting back to the page I truly wished to be my home page, I got the menu object to update. I am using the latest version, 24.4

post the link of your website
if the site is the one in your profile...
you have incorrectly renamed the HomePage which MUST be called
index
Go to MAP
select the HomePage
do Properties - SEO
and correct here
write: index
then export All files...
