Hardware - Compatibility - User Experience
Autore: Raoul R.Last few week I suffered from bad user experience, cause I placed codes at the wrong place. That is open for debate, the conversion tracker worked in google, and did not cause issues in the past/previous version. But say I places it in the wrong place.
Once in a while I visit godaddy and since I spend little time there I lifted the php version to the latest available. Seems not have been a good idea to go above 8.2 version php.
I had al sorts of instability. Uploading was a pain, rejections after rejection during connection with ftp, a preview costed time, and after one preview working on the project gets hindered by unwanted previews, jumping screens and sudden closure of the project without saving. I made a habit to close and reopen a project after one single preview. My feeling with these issues became that core i5 was not fit anylonger to deal with the clipboard of a project. That got proven with my first tests with a pc with core i7 and more heavier tools. Seems my user experience will be a lot better from today.
Why not introduce a checklist behind 5 project optimization, combined with prefered or recommended and minimal hardware and external setting as php, perhaps a code alert is to much to ask, perhaps.
I do not have the experience the Staff has, but got the feeling better communications on these matter might help us all. Including the Staff.
Hope you all have a great holliday season, and a big thank you to those who helped me out last weeks. Seems I am afloat again.
Hi Raoul,
