Is there an error message?

If the new object has an arrow, it hasn't been downloaded yet. Simply drag the object into the grid to download it.

If the new version has been purchased, then the old object must be replaced with the new object in the grid.

I do get an error message:

If a new version must be purchased this is the first time I have encountered that situation. Previous updates that I have done have automatically updated when I dragged them into the grid, as you mentioned, without additional expense.
I will have to re-evaluate how usefull that object is to me at this time before re-purchseing.

Is it possible that the program and the previous items were purchased using a different email address?

If they are different email addresses, Incomedia staff would have to merge the two email addresses. However, Incomedia staff will not be online again until Monday during office hours in Italy.

The objects in the Marketplace are updated from time to time, but if there are major changes, Incomedia will create a new object with a slightly different name, which must then be purchased.

You could use the html-object to create a before-after. There is many good on the net.
