IE9 dropdown

My dropdown-menu does not work in IE9. With IE8/Firefox and Chrome it works good. IE9 in comptabileitsmode works also good. My visitors who do not know this and think my site is not ok. What can I do ? Sorry for my bad english. I hope You understand me. regards pim www.pimvandenberg.nl

I presume you created the project on Webite X5 V.8. Your brower IE9 is backward compatible to HTML 4 which V8 created. IE9 default is HTML 5. If you want your prject to display without choosing the compatibility mode then you will have to upgrade to Website X5 V9 which produces projects in HTML5. Once purchased you can convert the project. There are some important notes you have to read about before doing this.

I use X5 V9 and imported the site from V8. That is not correcct ?

In reality it should work, please provide your URL so it can be tested.
In the mean time tey this
I would suggest you go to Advanced setting and open the menu options for drop down, toggle beween options and back and save. Press CTRL and Preview, allow the spinning disc to churn until it has finished. It may take a bit of time. When completed re-upload your site. Clear your cache of your browser and test your site.
The best is for someone else to test your site who has IE 9 also.
