Issues With Uploading To Net  en

Parole Chiave: updating

I have recently made some changes to my site - I have Evolution 8.

When I uploaded to the net - all pages uploaded correctly except for my home page (rv-n-truck.com).

When I test the page, it looks correct, but when I upload it comes out jumbled and even has some of the content that was just deleted. I tried rebuilding the entire page, but the same thing keeps happening.

I am totally at a loss - is there anyone that can help me? Thanks.

Hi,

You need to clear your temporary program cache first. You can do it with some utilites such as Auslogic. Windows may an option to do that as well I believe it is disk cleaner.

Thanks for the inforamtion - however this is not the issue - as other pages upload correctly. I tried cleaning up the temp cache anyway and uploading again, but to no avail....Any one else that may have a suggestion?

FYI - on the upload page - all of my other pages are listed and called out (example: truck_accessories.html), but the home page is not. Could this have something to do with it?

Hi Michael,

Hmm. I had similar issues with V8, for example if I changed a picture it would show up with test, and when I upload the site it would not show up there. When I cleared the temp files it would work.

Also please try to export the project under a different directory other than you are working now. For example if it is under c:\project 1 export it to c:\project 2 first. And Then clear the temp program files. Open the project from the new directory, try uploading again from the new directory.

Also after uploading the site please use a different browser to verify the changes. Browser cache may have someting to do with it as well.

Best regards,

Vedat
