V9 wont import a V9 project file? 
Autore: Anna R.Website X5 V9 won't open the import file from a V9 project file. The project file is from a Website X5 V9 program that is brand new and the V9 that won't open it isn't new, it was V8 and upgraded to V9. It says that the project file is from a newer version of Website X5.
My client is the one with the upgraded program from V8 - now she is totally unable to edit her own website when she needs to and because of the nature of the site, she needs to edit it often. She not only paid for the upgrade, she also paid for my program and is not very happy about this. She would have bought a new program if that is what she needed, but there is nothing that says she would be required to do so.
The whole idea was that she already was used to this program and there would be very little learning time. Now the whole site and her business is being held up.
I know this sounds absolutely ridiculous, but please let me know if there is an update or something she can apply to her software that will enable her to import a V9 project file into a V9 program?

you need to ask her what versions of the program she has. She needs to have both her Evo 8 and her Evo 9 up to date then export from her evo 8 and import on Evo9.

That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Did you read my question and problem? Your response is totally unrelated to my question. Evo 8 has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with this. If it does, then there is no such thing as an EVO 9 upgrade and you are taking money from people and leading them on to believe that there is such a thing. My client will be reversing the charges for the upgrade since there is obviously not a real Evo 9 upgrade.

I am not talking about and upgrade, i am talking about an update. We have released various updates since the first release of Evo 9 and you need to make sure you are always using the latest one for your program to work correctly.
You talked about a V8 and that you upgrade to the V9, this is why I mentioned the Evo 8. If the error message you receve states that ''the project file is from a newer version of Website X5 '' it means that you are not opening the project with the same version as the previous.
