Shopping Cart with Enquiry

Request To The Tech Team If the following could be incorporated in the next update.

Instead of an Add to cart button I need an Add to inquiry button. The "View cart" button should be a Vew inquiry button, and the checkout button should be a Submit inquiry button. The user should not know they are using a shopping cart at all, but rather an organized wholesale catalog used to generate price inquiries. The inquiries should be logged and saved just like orders, but with no evidence of payments or shipping. The checkout fields will also be modified to gather information useful for price quotes such as quantity desired and company info. If this can happen, I will be most grateful to the developers.

Hello Rukshar, I can suggest you a solution, if it works for you. You can change the "Add to cart" image in order to "tell" to the user that he will not add the product in the cart, but it will add the product to his "Whish list". You can also change all the text related to the cart steps from Step 1 | Language content. Actually the only problem is that you must enter ONE shipping mode and ONE payment mode. Here you can enter a text that explain to the user how he can receive the quotation. Hope it helps! Tongue out

Thank you for your suggestion.

I have already done this but th problem is I want to be able to chnge sme text in confirmation screen that follows to finish the enquiry.

Could you please check the following link:

www.generatorpartshopfiji.com/generator

and check the links on the side menu that will lead to one of the product pages.

Hope i can get an editor to change the shipping and payment message on header of the page.

Yes, as I suggest you, it is possible to change the default text from step 1, language content, click on the button near the select of the languages. Let me know.

Hello Rukshar, I'm afraid it's not possible to do that. We created the ecommerce page to be used as an ecommerce page, so it's not possible to remove those main elements...Wink
