Well, it has taken a while to get used to V9 and its' use of HTML5 but I think at last we have a way to replicate the borders around the text boxes we were able to create in V8. Basically, it involves the use of a text object and cell styles, where you can set the border and background colour to suit. The text can be input into the text object in the normal way and with the insertion of colums & rows into the page, the height and width can be determined. We are going to put the result into our testbed and you will be able to see how it works. Over time, we are also going to experiment with the html code, so that we can update the text box contents using CMS.

You can look at the code and see how we did it. We have yet to apply the HTML code to an HTML Object, so that we can update the boxes using CMS. Watch this space!
