I can't get rid of the menu!!

Does anyone know if you can turn of the 'automatic' menu on the template page. I want to design my own buttons in the header but I can't get rid of this standard menu....

Hi Pepijn,
set all page "invisible" in step 2.
Then in the header you can create your personal menù.
