Import photoshop template select in x5

Why is it not possible to make a full screen or other template in photoshop, import it in x5 and then make inside x5 selections for the various parts like top bottom menu and so on Now I do make a template in photoshop and have to cut out all the parts and bring them in x5. Maybe a idea? Cheers, Ron
