Unwanted links to spam / advertising sites embedded in my website text
Autore: Tom A.I have nearly completed my website using your software. It has been great, so easy to use and the site looks slick. But I have a major problem. At least once, sometimes twice, on each page of the site, random words are underlined links to spam websites
for example: http://tester-rewards.gamefevertv.com/?sov=302110&hid=eumuomewguguisgu&&ctrl1;=noiframe&id=XNSX.param
I don't want my customers to be clicking on these unrelated unwanted links!! I tried to find the html code that would've had main bodies of text and therefore also the links but couldn't locate the file that the body text is stored in to remove them manually.
Is this some sort of advertising that is placed in on purpose by your software? Because if so it is totally unacceptable! I paid good money to make a website with no hidden nasties. So please tell me if this is normal or not, and if it is not normal then how do i remove the links. Thanks
Hello Tom,
If you have Evolution I can ensure that no advertising is put inside your pages by WebSite X5 because I use Evolution and never had such spam you describe.
Did you put any "foreign" code or widget in your pages ? What is your URL so we could take a look at your code if you agree. Thanks
