I have an Paypal Integral Evolution account. I have updated the pages on my account but they do not appear the same on my website. Can you help me to integrate this? Also the price in the payment in step 4 shows as 0.00 and does not link to the price which needs to be paid. I need a fix for these two problems asap as I have customers waiting to pay. Thanks all

Hello Sam,
Did you use the integrated paypal payment in WebSite X5 or you added the custom html payment code?
Many thanks!

I have spoken to paypal and have it working now, however the template I have choosen on Paypal will not show up. Paypal have told me that this is to do with Website x5 not allowing different payment templates. I want to make the payment process for my customers as easy and pain free as possible but without showing the correct template it does not. Can you help further or are Paypal wrong.
Thanks
Hello Sam,
The integrated Paypal functions is working and you can use this one if you don't want to customize it or you don't need any other function. The integrated function offers the possibility to show different pages if the payment is ok or it didn't worked.
WebSite X5 shows at the end of the cart the link that brings the customer to the paypal page to pay and the link is also sent in the email that contains the order.
If you require any further information, please feel free to write back.

Sorry this has not answered my question. I have set up a page on my Paypal integral Evolution account for my customers to see. This is Layout B in thier invoice templates. This shows at the top "Choose a way to pay" under this it has two sections, the top one is "pay with a paypal account" the second one at the bottom is "Pay with a card". It is important to me and my customers that I have this template showing. The one I am currently showing is the standard layout and is not clear to the customer where to pay without a paypal account, which is hidden on the right under create a paypal account. Why can website x5 not detect this? Do I need to do something with custom code or does website x5 not see this on my paypal account. Also I want the paypal button on my site to say Pay Now instead of Buy Now, can this be changed?
Thank you, hope to have a response asap.
Hello Sam,
The layout is set directly from paypal and the program cannot change the behaviour of the paypal page. The paypal image can be changed in the Language content management window in Step 1 by clicking the button after the choice of the content language. You need to search the ID cart_paypal_image_1 and replace the link with this one:
https://www.paypal.com/en_US/i/btn/btn_paynowCC_LG.gif
Please feel free to write back if you need more information.

Thank Claudio, you are always very helpful to people that are new to all this. I have sent an email to Paypal to see why they are not displaying the page I want.
Thanks again!

Claudio, I have spoken to paypal and they tell me that website x5 only has the standard express checkout module loaded so this is automatically being integrated when we publish our website instead of the integral evolution package we have choosen. Can website x5 load the integral evolution module to paypal? Can you contact my sales rep at paypal who is Franck Calantoni and his number is 0035315364013 or ***.
Thank you, hope to have a response asap.
Hello Sam,
If paypal has a custom code for the payment that loads another payment package you can choose in the ecommerce payment settings, instead of paypal the custom code option where you can add the paypal code that offers this function and then it is integrated with the program.
You will need to add these two IDs in the Code to send the order number [ORDER_NO] and price [PRICE] so that the program fills these two variables that are sent to paypal.
If you require any further information, please feel free to write back.

Morning Claudio, I have seen the post below where you helped the user with custom code for his payment solution.
http://answers.websitex5.com/post/41324
How do I generate my own button for "Pay Now" in step 4 and what code do I use to make this work as in the linked post.
Thanks
Sam
Hello Sam,
The code can be generated on Paypal.com where you can find all informations on how to make a custom payment code:
https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_singleitem-intro-outside
https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_pdn_xclick_techview_outside
Hope these pages can help.
Please feel free to write back if you need more information.

Hi,
The point is that you claim to be a partner of Paypal and yet you only offer automatic integration for one (the most limited) Paypal payment solution.
I can indeed find an example of the code required on the pages that you have sent me to but I don't know how to adapt it to my site and needs. Again, one of the main reasons for choosing Website X5 was the promise that Paypal integration would be automatic and simple.
Paypal claim that it should be Website X5's responsability to integrate the Paypal payment solution chosen but you are passing this responsability onto the user.
We are not experienced in adapting code (hence our choice of Website X5). We also have open technical questions with Paypal in order to try to resolve the situation but we are finding it increasingly difficult to be the communication interface between the parties, as we do not have the required expertise.
We therefore repeat our request that you directly contact Paypal at 00 353 15 364 013 or ***. They have expressed their willingness to work with you to resolve this situation for both us and to improve the instructions for future clients.
Kind regards,
Sam at So British!

Claudio, this is perfect except one thing, it charges the customer extra money when transferred to the paypal site. Thank you so much for the help. Just one last hurdle.
Any ideas?
Hello Sam,
Can you please tell me how much extra money is charged so I can check when and why it happens?
Many thanks!

Aftrenoon Claudio, If I order something for 2.80 with 6.00 shipping it appears in paypal as 9.00 instead of 8.80. Hope this helps.
Thank you for your continued support.
Sam

Just to say. It adds 20 cents to every product.
Hello Sam,
Please try to change the [PRICE, 1, #####] with following code:
[PRICE, 1, #,###.@@]
Please let me know if it works correctly.
Many thanks!
Autore
Thank you Claudio. Not sure what the code means but it works.
I will leave you alone now and hopefully no more questions.
Cheers
Sam
