From the way your post reads I take it you are having trouble with the Guestbook feature of X5 (i.e. there was not a way to submit an approval for the submission)?

Or have I misunderstood, and you are having difficulty with the Email Form Object?

Can you advise what version of Website X5 you are using?

I want to have a page on the website that my clients can use to upload their pictures and comments. I am also having trouble with the approval process. Obviously I may need to delete inappropriate content, I have been unable to find the function for that.

When I try to use the admin functions it refuses my username and password.

I have resolved the admin username/password issue the current PHP running is 5.3.21. So just to be clear my issue is that I would like instructions to set a page for my clients to upload comments and especially pictures to the existing site.

Hello Lori,

To add comments zou can use the guestbook object, like it's already present on your website but it has no function to upload images. For the images you will need to use the Email Form Object where the suers can send you attachments and then you can add them on the website.

I sent an email and attached an image using an alternate email address and promptly received an auto response from my website thanking me for the comment. But after 25 minutes I have yet to receive the email message to my website email address (***) We are getting notification for guestbook and blog comments, but nothing from the email.

I really need some assistance in presenting a website with very good client commentary and uploading of pictures. One of the most important aspects to this website is the customer input. This feature is necessary to take the site live. Instruction on which applications to use would be most appreciated. The email submission continues to be an issue. Clients are sending emails and we are not seeing them, but they are getting an auto confirm that we have it!

The problem remains that the upload (choose file) function is not working we are getting emails but not the images.

Have you tried to change email script type in step 4 in Data Management?

Please try also the other script type and if this one should not work with the attachments then you need to contact the hosting provider to see if they allow to send attachments with the PHP function mail().
