How do you make the menu buttoms smaller? and is there a way to move them around ?

The Main Menu buttons can be customised in Step 4 Advanced Settings - Main Menu...
In particular you will find the variables in the 'Style' section on the 'General' tab especially useful. Reduce the value of 'Width' and 'Margin' as necessary until the buttons are as small as you would like.
If you want to change the order of the buttons in the menu then you need to change the order of the pages in the sitemap, as the two are linked. You can move pages up or down in the sitemap in Step 2, using the arrow buttons on the right hand side.
