unfortunately it is not possible to apply a discount on the total purchase yet. Why don't you post and idea for our technical team, I'm sure they will consider it for their future updates.

What you can do meanwhile, is put an add on your website stating that there is a 10% discount for your clients if they spend 40€ (for example) then once they have placed the order, you will have to change the total amount and apply the discount yourself, manually.
