There are still some problems with the program we have tried to reprogram but still hangs in data storage and so I always need to lose an hour's work I really do not enjoy it over and over again, please consult Thank you.

What are the specifications of your computer? (processor speed, RAM installed, type of hard drive, etc.)
In the first instance you can try to reduce the 'Max number of simultaneous processes' from '10' to a much lower number (you can reduce it even to '1' if necessary) - this option is found in 'Preferences', which is the very first screen which appears when you open X5.
WebSite X5 will use multi-threading techniques to speed up operation on faster, more powerful computers, but this is hardware dependent. Operation on slower machines will be more stable if you adjust the setting referred to above.
