what folder do I select when I want to publish to the internet do i create my own or use an existing
folder
Not sure what to do here
I have tried both ways and when i search for my web site i cant find it

Do you refer to the field entitled 'Destination folder' in Step 5, Website Export to Internet?
In many cases you don't have to enter anything at all in this box. It all depends on who your host is, and where you want to place your website within the space available to you on their server.
Your webhost will be able to help you find out which folder on your server is the 'public' folder, which is where a WebSite X5 project would normally be uploaded to. Such folders are often named 'public_html', 'httpdocs', 'htdocs', 'www' or 'site' - again your webhost help files will be of use.
It's most common to upload into the root of your 'public' webspace, or alternatively into a subfolder one level below the root which is set aside for a specific domain which you own.
If you can advise who you host with then we may be able to help you directly further.
