Sitemap 404 error in Google Webmaster tools
Autore: O. H.Hi there,
I recently updated my website with other languages as suggested creating subfolders (mydomain.com/es/ for spanish for example) with Evolution 10. I checked Google Webmaster tools today and found lots of 404 errors warnings concerning the sitemap.xml files. I downloaded the sitemap.xml files and had a look at it. The entries are created like this:
mydomain.com/es/index.html/ingredientes.html (should be mydomain.com/es/ingredientes.html)
mydomain.com/es/index.html/beneficios.html (should be mydomain.com/es/beneficios.html)
The chinese version of the sitemap looks like this:
mydomain.com/page-3.html (should be mydomain.com/zh/page-3.html)
mydomain.com/page-4.html (should be mydomain.com/zh/page-4.html) etc.
I manually corrected it and uploaded the updated files but I guess I have to do this every time when I update the content and the new sitemap.xml file gets uploaded too...
Any idea if i did something wrong or is it a bug when creating the sitemaps?
Thanks for reading!
