Size and Width of Menu Entries

If I have 5 menu entries, I can control their width and the space between them.
But I would like to have them "double justified" so that the menu entries are aligned to the left and to the right of the area. (I read some comments but could not find a direct solution).

Thanks. Here are two images. The first shows left justified menu entries (not the text of the menu itself but their boxes). There is an unwanted space on the right.
The second shows how i fixed the menus (using Photoshop) to ensure they are equally spread horizontally no matter how many entries there are.
