How do I include files in a project that are not in the sitemap?  en

I often have additional files in my site that need to be accessed.  Sometimes they are PHP include files, and sometimes they are text files that eventually may be rendered on a page by some Javascript code.  These are not part of the sitemap, as they are not edited from within WX5.  Is there a way to include these in WX5 so that they get generated or should I just include them manually?

you can use a text object and set it to html.

You can also use the expert part to add code, goto the sitemap from page2, use properties button on the page you like to add code, see the expert tab.

Hope this is what your looking for, else please provide an example.

I often have text files that need to be displayed on a page.  I would like to include the text file or display it using an html object with javascript code.  Where do I save that text file in the file structure?  In other words, I have a file that I want included in the project so that it can be referenced, but it isn't a file I'm creating from within WX5.  It's an automatically generated text file.  I just want to know where to place it in the file structure so that it will be uploaded when my project is uploaded to the server.

you need to use html object > expert> add, then choose your file and if you have a desire folder, type the name of the folder, otherwise just save it in "Files" folder.

let me know the result.

if this post solved your problem, please mark it as solved.

Good Luck
