Hi, Looking to upgrade from Website X5 (Evolution) to Website X5 version 10 however I have read that any projects created with the older version will not work in the latest version. Surely it would have made sense for them to be compatible? Even Microsoft gets that right? Please advise before I purchase a product which will be no good to me. Many thanks, Mike

I think many of them would be fine on v10 evo, but the best version is 10 pro and work different from previous versions, thas why you can not upgrade to 10 pro, it comes only in full versoin and not ugrade version.

If you have Version 9, projects will open and convert without problems in Version 10. I am not sure if this is the case with Version 10 Pro.
from 9 to 10 pro, everythings would be fine, exept your template, you need to go to edit template and modify it over there, as far as content, looks like everything is fine (I tried one of my old project from 9 to 10 pro).

ok, I convert another project from ver9 to 10 pro, everything is fine, no need to modify, so if your website been design with v9, go ahead and buy evo10 or 10 pro. I will recomand you get the 10 pro!

I'm actually using version 5 and version 10 cannot 'find' my website to import so listeningto what you've all said I may have to do a complete rebuild
No, it shows in your profile that you have ver8, since you did not buy ver9, then yes, that would be a problem, you can convert v8 to v9 and v9 to v10.
