Can't view website galleries on Android devices.
Autore: Nigel W.Can't view website galleries on Android devices. (I know about the flash issues)
Have tried to view my website galleries in the following browsers (all android versions)
Chrome, Dophin, Opera and Firefox. Pictures all show up but the galleries don't. Yes I have cleared out the browser caches each time.
All were updated and in the latest version of X5 (evo10) as of 26 March 2014. Whole site uploaded many times. As they were created in this version they should all be HTML5 yes? If so, why not showing in andriod (have tried on my Galaxy S phone (running Ice Cream Sandwhich) and on Nexus 7 Tablet running (Kit Kat 4.4).
I have a browser plug in for the Dolphin browser enabling flash player, with that enabled the galleries do work which leads me to beleive that X5 is creating them in flash. But surely X5 evo 10 only produces HTML5, yes/no? Getting annoying now.

I should mention that the site was origionally created in v9 then imported into v10.
I have followed the procedure recomended to convert galleries and have now checked (by viewing source code on published site) but they are still flash based, why hasn't v10 converted them to html5???
Answer sometime soon please....missing an awful lot of visitors due to no working galleries.
Hello Nigel,
Can you please write the link to your website to see what exactly happens?
Many thanks!

Come on incomedia, I have been after at least a basic answer to my problem for a week now. You are putting forward the impending release of v11 but as an early adopter of v10 that isn't doing what i bought it to do, ie. Display a basic website on most browsers. In fact with it not displaying on ios or android it isn't even working correctly on 50% of the worlds browsers just doesn't inspire confidence. And please don't keep this @ go through Answers lark up for too long as it just drags on with no help for too long. Come on you could, ans should do much better than this.
in which page you have your gallery? I checked your homepage and there is no gallery over there, you used 2 image object over there. please see attachment
if your gallery is under another tab, let me know to look into it.
if this post is the correct answer, please mark this answer as correct answer.

Hello Nigel,
Your website is still made with version 9 and you are not using the most updated version of Evolution 9 therefore I would suggest you to upgrade it to the latest release.
Your galleries are all flash based and Evolution 9 offers the HTML5 galleries which works perfectly on mobile devices. also if you install the flash plugin this is not a full version of the player and not been updated for a long time by adobe. iOs has not flash plugin at all and the flash galleries will not be displayed.
Also if you use dolphin as browser this is not supporting flash but is able to show flash content of the most visited websites by all users since they convert the code to make it work but it won't work for all websites.
I would suggest you to update your Version 9 and then choose the HTML5 Gallery types for your galleries and then export it again online.
In this way it will work natively on all mobile devices without the need to special browsers or plugins.
Many thanks!

Claudio, thank you for response but the answer you have given is Wrong. If you read my first post fully it clearly states the original site was built in version 9 but imported and converted in version 10. I purchased version 10 as soon as it was released and following Incomedia's instructions imported that project from version 9 into version 10. The project was then exported in its entirety to my web host from version 10 which i was led to believe only exports as HTML5. I have in fact performed that very proceedure about a dozen times since. My original post stated clearly that I was aware it was being exported as flash and not HTML5 hence the question, why? As evolution 10 doesn't even offer flash as an option how can it be outputting flash based galleries????
Just one of the galleries not showing.

Hello Nigel,
The online project is still made with version 9. Did you export the project in the correct folder on your hosting space?
The gallery http://www.kitchensos.co.uk/bella-range.html is made in Version 9.1.2.1923 and it is flash based. This is why it is not working on mobile devices.
Try to export the complete project from Version 10 again and check it is exported in the root folder and then test it again on the mobile devices.
Many thanks!

Can you please tell me why after importing the evo9 project into evo 10 (a year ago) and then exporting it many times from within evo 10 it is still being exported as a evo 9 project. I followed all the instructions Incomedia gave when I first bought version 10 last year regarding importing version 9 projects to be converted to HTML5 in version 10 but this doesn't seem to have happened. My version 10 is currently fully up to date???

BTW I am uploading it to my root directory. I even completely deleted all existing files on the server before the last upload.
Hello Nigel,
Now the online website is the one made with Version 10 and the gallery is visible on android devices since it is a HTML5 gallery.
Your Program is fully updated and you can test it.
Many thanks!
