When is the Subscript / Superscripts issue going to be resolved.?  en

Subscripts / Superscripts are an integral part of many web sites.

Using symbols ®, or ™ just does / does not work.

The TM Superscripts as required - but the R symbol stays as a 'letter' even if you change the text size. It does not work as a superscript and rise to the top of the line.

Others work ° but not the R symbol.

Answers from the developers please.

It is not a private issue - I'm happy for everyone to chip in with their solutions (not that there are any).

But I don't want it ignored by the developers (as they do most of the time)

Hello Paul,

With the registered symbol it won't work because of the size of it like the link of Andre explains it.

The only way is to reduce the font size of it and then use the sup tag.

The sup tag won't work directly since it is deactivated in the reset.css file and you can enable it by adding following code in step 1 - expert "before closing the head tag":

<style>
sup { vertical-align: super;}
</style>

Many thanks!

I'll try this - thanks...

But moving on from this - will there be a comprehensive text editor in the next version of X5...?

You are rapidly losing ground to WordPress...
