No longer sending e-mails when orders are placed  en

My shopping cart was sending e-mails to my account when orders were placed, but suddenly stopped doing so. Orders on June 30 and before were forwarded to my email account fine, but since July 1, I have not received the notifications. I know orders were placed because they registered payment in PayPal, but I have no way of knowing what was ordered without the e-mail that is usually sent to me. I have tried myself to place orders, and there was no notification e-mail. I made no changes to the website from June 30 to July 1, and I checked and the correct e-mail is listed for notification under "sending orders" in the shopping cart. I am receiving other e-mails to that account, so it is not a problem with my e-mail account. I've checked the spam and trash folders as well. It's a gmail account if that matters. I would like to know how to fix the email notification, but if there was another way to access the order data, I could at least do that in the meantime. I greatly appreciate any assistance.

Melanie,

Could your provider have made changes in the php script versions?

mail is send from x5 with the use of software -php- and then your provider sends it further using also php, if these version differ too much it could be that the functionality stops.

x5 has the option to use multiple version to correct these issues.

goto step 4 advanced settings and then to data management, left below you can schange the email script, change it 1 level, upload website again, goto website press ctrl-F5, then try if yoy can place an order and get an email.

If this works then I am afraid that previous mail is not recoverable anymore.

goodluck
