Hello Leo,

The key to doing this is to use 'Levels' instead of 'Pages' in the Step 2 Sitemap Creation.

Insert a new 'Level' underneath the 'Level' for your drop-down menu in the sitemap.  You can use the arrow keys on the right-hand side of the screen to move levels up and down if required until you get them in the right order.

Then select/highlight the 'Level' which you wish to convert into a web link, by clicking on it just once.  Having done that, click on the 'Properties' button on the right-hand side of the screen.  In the new window which opens select 'File or URL' from the drop-down menu entitled 'Settings'.  Add the URL you wish to link to in the field marked 'Internet File'

Kind regards,

Paul

Many thanks Paul. I will give that a go. Another point is that the Tutorial shows a link in the top right, to the right of "Preview". I don't see that. Any ideas?

Regards,

Leo

Sorry Leo, I'm not sure what you mean...  can you possibly give me a screenshot or a link?  I can't quite grasp what you're referring to.

My apologies,

Paul

On my X5 main screen at the top I have three option buttons. One is a small circle "Help", next is a square "Save" then a square for "Preview". In the tutorial there is another circle that the tutorial frequently goes to that is to the right of "Preview". It is partly obscured in the tutorial so I can't see what it is but my X5 Evolution 10 has nothing there. Sorry I could not catch a screen shot but if you run the tutorial you will see what I mean.

Cheers,

Leo

Hello Leo,

Those 'circles' are actually the 'Back' and 'Next' buttons...  on some screens they change to 'OK' and 'Cancel'...  although you only refer to one there are two buttons in reality.

It's possible that your screen resolution is set in such a way that the edges of the video are being obscured as you view the tutorial.  You can try altering the display resolution on your computer if it bothers you.

In any event, this is not anything major to worry about.  The tutorial has been updated to cover version 11, where these buttons that I refer to have been moved to the top right of the screen.  In your version 10 they are on the bottom right of course.

Hope that makes things clear.

Kind regards,

Paul
