How can I add a side bar to my blog?

Hi Incomedia and users,
I have a blog set up which takes up the entire width of the page in my template. I want to have side bars for like social media and other text right next to me blog.
Please help.

Hello TIbi Fiers,
In the blog in step 4 go to the layout tab and then below in the section "Side Blocks" you will be able to add social media and other functions in the blog.
