Hi,

How do you make a page button link to a completely different url instead? I basically want this link: http://www.beatsandrap.com/submitted-music.html which is my "Submitted Music" page button to go to this instead: http://www.beatsandrap.com/blog/index.php?category=Submitted+Music Should be simple right? I also want this link: http://www.beatsandrap.com/blog/index.php to go to this http://www.beatsandrap.com/blog/index.php?category=Underground+Music. I don't want a meta refresh method via html code because is no good to me. Any help is appreciated. This should be easy to do within the software as it is with other software I have used but I cannot find a way in X5. Let know asap please as this is of utmost importance to me.

Thanks very much! I await your replies...

If you set in your sitemap (step 2) a folder (not a new page but new level) then you have a menu butten that you can give any name.

This level can then be linked to any internet location by using the properties button in step 2.

Hey Andre,

I tried to upload a file that was 1.7mb and it gave me an error saying "The file you are trying to upload is larger than the permitted size". Really? I never had this problem before even with 2mb images. If this part of the new maintenance?

Anyway I actually did follow part of your advice as you can see for yourself in my site and it seems to be working brilliantly! I am very happy! Just a question, I must know, are these links safe for SEO and Google indexing right? I assume they are because essentially, they aren't really redirects are they? I just hope it is safe and SEO friendly. I would like to know what do you think?

Thanks.

Glad the links work !

As far as I know that this is a link, it's in your sitemap and that's what seo searches for, links and sitemaps, so I thinks it's okeej.

But I'm not an expert on Seo......

I don't know how or where you are trying to upload so that's difficult to answer.
