Customizing Custom Templates

I just purchased Web X5 Evolution V11 yesterday. I found an intro video on YouTube and thought V11 would be similiar. However, my program works differently than what I watched online. I created a template from scratch and can't figure out how to change the colors.
I would think the logical place to do this would be on the Template Customization TAB. However, when I go there, I only have access to the header and Footer and no controls to change colors.
This seems like a very basic adjustment and I did not buy the basic version of this program.
How do I do this task?

The video you watched seems to me like a verion 10 demo.
You now have version 11, this version has a new template selection with more then 1500 templates. unfortunatly is the colour changing option not present anymore.
It is possible to change this but you need to this manualy.
I suggest starting with one of the templates and start using all options that x5 offers and wait with finetuning (like colour changing templates) for later.

Hi Russel,
if you have created your own template from scratch and you wish to customise it, please look into Step 1 - Template Style - Template Structure. Here you can change the colors and add images if you like, to complete your template and achieve the style you prefer.
