Need to restore from project file v10 
Autor: Michael M.Hi Guys, I have read the previous posts on restoring from a IWZIP file. i have followed all the instructions on renaming the project file from the backup file. however the restore a project import option is looking for a ip file and will not see a project.iwprj file.
Please can somone help me with how to make Evo 10 see a iwprj file as the import browser will only search for the IWZIP and i dont have one of those. I have followed all the instructions here. but i cannot see an option to open a file only restore and the restore option will only allow me to restore from an IWZIP file file.
Some help would be great as i dont think th instructions here are very clear at all

i formatted my pc and have no history in my EVO 10 but i do have all the data files for my websites but no IWZIP file files

There are 2 files here, as you already noticed.
1 is only for backup purposes and can be made in step 5 backup project . using this option gives you an iwzip file. That file can then be imported using the import button in project selection screen.
Have you not done this, then you have the standard project file .iwprj, this is the file you see when you startup x5 in your project selection. (it's a different file and has a different location / purpose)
If you only have the iwprj file then this is inside a folder with the same name as your project. That folder nees to be copied (from your backup place) to the location where you have it in the new installed x5.
This folder location can be found in the first screen of x5 when you startup-> see preferences then default folder for projects.
