Hello Ungureanu,
In the first instance please do a check for Windows Updates, especially any that relate to the Microsoft .NET Framework.
WebSite X5 requires .NET to run correctly, and if your .NET installation is out-of-date or corrupted in some way then you may well run into issues like you have just experienced.

after reading carefully Paul's useful suggestions, please read the following as well:
To repair the .NET Frameworks 3.5 and 4 in Windows XP you need to use following cleanup tool where you first remove Version 4 and then 3.5:

Once done you need first to reinstall .NET 3.5 by downloading it from following link:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=21
And then .NET 4 by downloading it from following link:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17718
