You can add an email form where you ask users to register so they can have access to private pages where you add the product list object.

You will then need to create the user in the program in step 4 and then upload the project online so they can then login.

In this way you can make it possible to buy only after registration.

What I am after doing is this. I want anybody to be able to visit my website and but items, Which I have already doen. But I also want, traders to register on my site and log in to buy items at a discounted rate then log back out again. Can this be done with this software??

there are 2 part in your last post,

1)evo version does not create automatic registration, so in that case, Like claudio said, you can create a form for them to register, but still you have to create a username and password for them and enter it to the x5 program.

2) since shopping cart does not work with user registration system, you can setup your product in lower price and not show the to public, only place them inside a private page, so the user who has sign up, they can log in and see the product with discount or create a coupon code and only show the code to the people who are registered.

Do you mean I would have to create all my products again at a lower price? There are 100s of items, it would take months, is there a quick way of doing this? Where would I put the log in? Regards.

what you can do is give them a coupon code inside their private page, in that case you do not need to create another item list.

create a page and name it clients log in or any thing you would like to, make it private so only registered visitors can access, than add a link in your menu, if any one click on it, since its a private page, it will ask for their username and passwork before it shows the page.

you need shorter than this? create a coupon code, create a coupon page, thats all
