www.playmoderntennis.com A most frustrating problem is reoccurring....
Windows keeps closing Website X5 11 down when previewing my work. It says Incomedia software has stopped working, windows will close it down and will offer you a possible solution if it can find one. It never does.
I am just updating text and adding photos to the pages on tabs.

Hello John,
What Windows are you using?
Did you try to install all available windows updates to see if this helps?
Does the same happens also with another project or only with this one?
Many thanks!

I am using Windows 8 and it is all up to date.
It's happened before on other projects too.
All the best John
Hello John,
In this case try to repair the .NET Framework as following to see if then you experience still the same issue:
Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off
Clear the check box for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 and then click on OK. Clear also the check box for Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 and then click on OK.
After Windows disables the feature you will need to go back to re-enable Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 and 4.5 and then click ok.
Please keep me updated.

Hi Claudio,
I did as you requested and all seemed ok until I tried to change the font from Tahoma to Arial then it simply closed Website x5 down without explanation.
When I tried to open it, I had to open from a temporary file which means I will have to upload the whole website again with my changes. This takes hours as the site is so large.
Can you help?
Regards John

Hi Claudio,
Things seem to be getting worse now. I have been trying to open my project www.swimgoal.co.uk and everytime I go to open a page for editing windows closes it down.
Regards John
Hello John,
Do you get an error message like "the program stopped to respond" or is it an error message from the program?
If it's the first then probably some other .NET components are not working correctly or it could depend on the font used which is corrupt and is causing this issue.
Try to go to control panel and then choose fonts and test the fonts arial and tahoma to see if these appears correctly.
If these are correct, try to use this .NET Repair tool to see if it finds some issues:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30135
Once done check again if there are any windows updates available.
Many thanks!
