Hello Francos,
Does the same also happen if you use WebSite X5 immediately after rebooting your computer?
Can you temporarily create a new blank project and verify whether or not a similar crash occurs when attempting to go to the page description tab?
Kind regards,
Paul

Hi I have tried rebooting and going into the tab screen on my existing project and that of a new blank project I created, both with the same result, it crashes!
Hello Francos,
What windows version are you using?

HI windows version 7 ultimate - in the last few days it has been asking me to activate the licence - trying to sort out with Microsoft - could that be the problem?
Hello Francos,
The activation issue doesn't depends on the other issue.
Try as first to repair the .NET frameworks as following:
To repair the .NET Frameworks 3.5 and 4 you need as first to use following cleanup tool to remove .NET 4:
http://cid-27e6a35d1a492af7.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/Blog_Tools/dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.zip
Once done go to Control Panel then choose Programs and Features and then click on Turn Windows features on or off. Clear the check box for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 and then click on OK. After Windows disables the feature you will need to go back to re-enable Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1
This procedure can take some time to deactivate and activate .NET 3.5.1 and once done reinstall .NET 4 after downloading it from following link:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17718
Once done test it again to see if you still experience the same issue.
About the activation request to solve it try this:
Please check if under C:\Users\ The Admin username \AppData\Local\Incomedia\ there is a folder called WebSite X5 v11 - Evolution and if the licence.iwl file is inside this folder.
If this folder exists and the file is there, copy the folder and paste it under c:\Users\ Your Windows username \AppData\Local\Incomedia and then start the program.
Many thanks!

Hi tried the steps you suggested but I still have the same problem. See the error attached..
Hello Francos,
In this case it seems to be necessary a deeper repair of the .NET frameworks:
Use following tool to uninstall the .NET Frameworks in this order:
.NET 4, 3.5, 3, 2.5 and 2.
http://cid-27e6a35d1a492af7.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/Blog_Tools/dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.zip
Once done install then in this order:
Framework 2.0:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=1639
Framework 2.5:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=16508
Framework 3.0:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=3005
Framework 3.5:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=21
Framework 4.0:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17718
After these has been reinstalled start again the project and test it to see if then it works.
Many thanks!
