Cannot Update to New Version - Stuck on 11.06.27  en

I have just ordered the upgraded software and installed it on my computer. When I enter the software there is a notification that an update is available. When I click the update button on the right indicates there is an update. I click on it, it asks whether I want to install the new version, I click OK, it starts installiing and then returns  an Error 406, Error while updating. It indicates that it is not possible to install the files and to Verify that all programs are closed and restart the update.... I close all programs on my computer but no change...

I have been using your software for years and I have not previously had a problem updating. What is wrong now?

Hello Linos,

Instead of trying to update within the program itself please download the latest version directly from this link:

https://answers.websitex5.com/profile/downloads

Once downloaded, reboot your PC...  then right-click on the setup file and select 'Run as administrator'

You can install directly over your existing WebSite X5 installation...  there is no need to uninstall first.
