I have to agree with all the other posters who have expressed their disbelief and/or dissatisfaction over the lack of a spell checker. Not having such a basic feature in a modern software program is so mainframe era (i.e., 1960s and 70s).

I don't know if the lack of a spell checker is due to the cost of licensing or some other factor, but if it comes down to cost then there is a workaround.

The links below are for two free and open source spell checkers. One of them is used in both OpenOffice and LibreOffice, both of which are given away for FREE. Since there is no profit in zero, which is the cost of both OpenOffice and LibreOffice, those programmers are certainly incorporating the spell checker for zero cost. Does free work for you? Will that get us a built-in spell checker?

I also have to agree with others and say that I won't pay for an upgrade unless this basic and widely-used feature is added to your software. And that would be a shame since I love working with Website X5.
