My Google verification metatag shows at the top of my home page. When I remove the metatag in Website X5 Evolution 11 it disappears and when I add it back under Advanced Settings it again appears at the top of the home page.
I was using the Web Portal 3 template.

Hello Brian,
You must have added the meta tag in the wrong place, unfortunately, or possibly the tag is malformed. We will help you sort this out.
Can you post a screenshot showing exactly what you have added in Step 4 Advanced Settings so we can understand better?
Also, a link to your website would be useful.
Many thanks,
Paul

The website address is www.allboc.com
Thank you.
Hello again Brian,
What you have entered in the 'Verification metatag for Google Webmaster Central' field is unfortunately not a valid HTML meta tag.
Google HTML meta tags look similar to this:
<meta name="google-site-verification" content="xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" />
...where the x's are a sequence of alphanumeric characters.
It would appear that you have confused verification by meta tag with verification by HTML file upload. You can use either method to verify your site with Google, but if using the file upload method then you must place the HTML file in the root directory of your server instead of typing the first part of the file name in the 'Verification metatag' field within WebSite X5.
Visit this link for full details. Google provides clear instructions no matter which method you decide to use.
