Hello Andrew,

These two formats are not compatible with each other.  There is no facility to export from WebSite X5 and import into wix.com

Kind regards,

Paul

Thank you for your reply Paul. So is there no way to either transfer the domain or connect it to the new wix.com website that has been created?

If you refer to the actual webpages (project data) then there is no way to directly transfer from one to the other.

If, however, you mean the domain name, e.g. http://www.google.com and you wish to use the domain name which you previously used for WebSite X5 on a WIX site, then you would need to ask for support on the WIX forum regarding how to do this.  Unfortunately, this forum provides support for WebSite X5 only: however, I'm sure the community at WIX will help you out.

Domain names are not associated with WebSite X5 in that way.  They belong to you as the webmaster, and you are free to use them however you wish.  Your web hosting provider will also be able to help you further.

Best wishes...

These are the instruction I have recieved from Wix

Log in to your domain provider's website and update the Name Server settings for louthhuntponyclub.com to:

- ns0.wixdns.net

- ns1.wixdns.net
If you have any trouble, contact your domain provider for support

Can you direct me as to where I can find the name server settings please?

You will need to ask your web hosting provider, Andrew, just as WIX suggest:

Andrew K.
If you have any trouble, contact your domain provider for support

This is specifically a web hosting issue: it is not related to WebSite X5 in any way.
