Lost website on my computer.

I lost my website ( project) because of a crash.
can i dowload my project from the Internet and import it again in X5
or is there an other solution.
i already tried Filezilla but the X5-12 does not recognise it as an project.
please help

Hello Klaas,
Unfortunately it is not possible to reconstruct a project from files on the server.
The best you can do is copy as much text as possible from the old site, and paste it into Text Objects in a new project. Likewise, download as many images as you can and insert these into Image Objects in the new project, etc.
For future security export your project regularly as an IWZIP file in Step 5, and keep an additional backup of this IWZIP file in a separate, secure location, remote from your computer.
In this way you will always be able to easily recover from a crash, because the IWZIP file incorporates every single aspect of a WebSite X5 project, which you can import back into the program at the project selection screen.
