Hi,
I just followed the link instructions below to test run my clients admin login details to access the control panel for his store so he can make his own changes and updates. http://help.websitex5.com/en/v12/pro/index.html?carrello_prodotti.htm&utm_source=software&utm_medium=Professional_12
However when I got in, it only came up with web site test info and email info (refer to attachement). There was no where to go to access the store.
Can someone please point me in the right direction in relation to what i might not have done in order to get the admin control panel ccome up for my client. I have added him access Management as per the instructions and put in the domain URL + /admin.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Shaun

Hello Shaun,
Shopping cart related options will only be displayed in the online control panel if you have first established a fully working Shopping Cart in the project, and uploaded it to the server.
Kind regards,
Paul

Hi, it is uploaded. Please refer to www.joshyshire.com.au. Is there something else that I have not done?
Are you using Stock Control/Send data to a database? It doesn't look like you are. The online admin panel is arranged to facilitate order processing and stock management when orders are sent to a database. You cannot add or remove actual items using the online control panel. This must be done within WebSite X5 itself.

Thanks. Without having to download software etc, how would one access their store and make changes from a different location? etc update products. Like a CMS.
This cannot be done in the manner your describe, at present.
Changes other than order processing and stock management must be performed from within WebSite X5 itself.
If you like you could open an 'Idea' post to make the developers aware of your requirements.

So the average business owner has no way of updating their own site or store? So Website x5 is only for your own personal site. Not for doing up sites for other people etc.
