Hi, I'm using Website X5 12 Professional.
I am using Statcounter because it is a powerful counter with other software, however when I use it on any of my Website X5 sites I don't get hits. Does Google hate Statcounter perhaps.

Any suggestions on where I'm going wrong will be greatly appreciated.
I really don't want to go back to other software.
Cheers,
David

Hello David,
I've just visited the homepage on all three of your websites. Can you see my visits recorded in your stats? If so, then StatCounter is working correctly, and you should focus instead on improving the content of your websites.
You will get hits if you are offering quality content which is unique, hard to find elsewhere, and of genuine interest to the public.
Kind regards,
Paul

Paul, you are the Master,
Thank you for your suggestion. I will take it onboard immediately. I don't have to work harder - I need to work smarter. Mind you, other software get the hits easily... what a shame I bought V12 professional on a whim. I've been with them since V5.
Cheers anyway.
David
David, out of interest I did a google search for Budget Wise Mechancal and cam up with a page full of hits (impressive), but with one exception, none had a link to the real website (I didn't locate links on the facebook page either). Perhaps if the website url was added to truelocal, white pages, oneflare, ibizprofile, yelp, etc your traffic may improve?

Thanks for your advice.
I still don't know how to submit 'the sitemap' to Google - and how do produce it.
Unfortunately after a series of minor strokes and heart turns I've lost more memory than I have regained I think sometimes. (I'm a far nicer person now though ;-) )
Cheers,
David
