Page creation. Image object links no longer work. When a link is given in image properties it no longer connects. Re-entering the link still has no effect. The links work from outside X5. ie. http://putnoemowsburyfriends.org.uk/pdf/cpre%20award%20photo.pdf
Have noticed problem since last update.

I do not know why this link doesn't work, but why not simply link to the file cpre%20award%20photo.pdf
I do know that at least one other user has been having difficulties since the release of V13 https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/pt/post/158046

Hi
Thank you for getting back to me.
No pdf object links work from inside X13. both cpre%20award%20photo.pdf and http://www.putnoemowsburyfriends.org.uk/pdf/cpre%20award%20photo.pdf both work outside of X13.
From looking at the other user that was having simular problems I may have to revert to V12 for the time being.
thanks again.
Andy
Andy, going back to 12 should not be necessary. I have half a dozen websites all with links to pdf's without any issue in V13 pro and evo. To my knowledge, the other user did not have an issue linking to local pdf's, only remote ones.
You tried the local file by browsing to where the file is on your pc? (the file name should not have %20 in it, the highlighted field should have c:\localpath\cpre award photo.pdf)
Does it work in preview but perhaps not on the web?
I assume you are having issues with Friends Group/Awards - I tried to look at your source code but you have blocked this ability, so I can't make any more guesses :-)
Maybe there is a bug? I noticed same thing here:

I agree Andre - but so frustrating when it only affects some people.
Andy, if you have the time could you export your current V13 project as iwzip, and then import this iwzip to create a second project, if there is a fault in the xml file sometimes this clears it.
Please let us know if you have success.

Hi Esahc
Thanks for your prompt reply.
The pdf files are not local (PC), they have been uploaded to my One Com server directories. The files do not link on preview or through WebX 13 via my web sites Domain Host but are available outside of my Web X 13 site directly from the server.
I will try export and import as you suggest.
Thanks again for your assistance.
Regards
Andy
Andy, you can bring the files up from your host, simply save locally and then link to them.
All will be well :-)
I will only say one thing. This is a bug in the program. Disable the effects (glow) in the images.
Yes, Incomedia needs to check this.

Hi Esahc
Moving files locally is an option but if you look at the site there are many links to pdf files that reside on the host that have always been ok until the latest version or update. Here for instance http://www.putnoemowsburyfriends.org.uk/mowsbury-hillfort.html
I will as suggested disable the glow and see what happens.
Thanks for all of your assistance.
Andy.

Hi
Thank you.
I have disabled the glow on a few of the images on the awards page which appear to be ok now. When I get time I will run through the pages and remove the glow effects for the time being.

Hi all
Will Incomedia look at this glow, link problem in WebX 13 or should I find another mouse over effect or way to highlight the files.
Many thanks for all of your assistance.
Andy
Andy,
I will set this post for Incomedia to read, so they will take a look at it and hopefully make an update as soon as possible. I would advice to take effects off for the moment, after update set them again. (and test) :)
Best Regards,
Andre
