I had to change my harddisk of my computer. I had Website X5 installled. How can I reinstall it again without losing my second installation.

I had send email to your sales team before purchasing your software regarding a system failure. They said with every license you are permitted to install on 2 different computers. So far I have only installed it on one computer which has been damaged and I had to replace the harddisk.

Now I want to reinstall your software without losing my second avaivailable permission to install on second computer.

Just install it on your new disc. Download from X5 panel and import the project (peace of cake)... I assumed that you have a project saved :)

If I install it, I will use my license twice, means I can't install it on any other machine anymore.

If you are going to install it on the same computer you can do it as many times as you need.
No matter if you change your hard drive, format or reinstall WebSite X5, it will not count as your second computer in your license.

I usually format my computers every 6 months and reinstall WebSite X5 with the same license and I have not had any problems.

Regards.

Hi Milad,

thank you for contacting us.

I confirm you can install the software again: the limit refers to 2 simoultaneous installations on 2 different devices. Thus, if you have to reinstall it on a PC due to an harddisk change, that would not count as second installation. If you received a 314 error, just contact us again, we will provide you with the unlock code.

Please let me know if I can be of any help. Kind regards.
