Hey guys, I'm testing the software out for the first time and I had some questions about the auto registration. I setup the database and some locked test pages. I was able to create a account and an email was sent for validation and I could see the entry in the database. I noticed that once I validated everything and verified the username and password I still couldn't log in. I got a your account isn't activated yet error, so I went back into the software and ran the update in the user management section and the test account I created showed up. My question is do I have to run that update everytime everytime someone create a account and republish the site?

Hello Cecil
Yes - After having updated the user list, with the Update button, the operations carried out on the Users will take effect only after the website has been published online. This means, for example, that the list of downloaded users will not be removed from either the online Control Panel or the WebSite X5 Manager app until the website is republished online.
And this is a bit silly. As it is the PRO version, it should not be needed, that it is the webmaster that has to administer new users. This should be done by the site-owner via the admin-panel - here it should be possible to "accept" new users.
But the self-registration gives a rather easy way to import new users, and you get the ip-address of the user, and you have the users e-mail verified.
So you can say that accepting a user, is done by updating the user-list and publishing the site.
Kind regards
John S.
