How long after buying professional will i get free upgrades?

with the purchase of professional how long do you provide free upgrades to next level?
aslo how often do you update plugins?
besides the animator add on are there any other softwares that are compatiable or recommeneded to work with X5?

All the updates that come out for the version you buy are always free!
From time to time there will be a totally new version, for instance, we are now at V13 so in the future there will be a new version 14 come out.
If v14 comes out short after you bought v13 there is usually a compensation period to go to v14 (in the past this period was for free, but it's up to Incomedia to make the rules for that, I expect nothing less for V14 if it arrives). If so -because I don't know- but if Incomedia will inform you accordingly)
After about 3 of these versions support will stop, but licence support will always be delivered. Then you will normally be years further.
Keep informed about actions from Incomedia in you portal, got top right pull down next to your name, select change user profile and goto " Edit your Subscription " for there newsletter(s).
I would advice you strongly to do so.

Generally, if you already own a recently purchased previous version you will be able to enjoy higher discounts during the launch phase.
